It is Open Studios time. The tour begins the first weekend in October, and goes for three weekends.
The first weekend is South Santa Cruz County. The second is artist's studios in the North part of the County. The third weekend is for all artists who have agreed to open their studios over the whole county. Anyone wanting to take the tour is advised to buy a calendar- which includes an example of the artist's work, studio locations and maps to guide you. Many people tour in a group and share a calendar, but they are great to use them throughout the year as your regular calendar.
This year I am artist # 78. You will see my ( and others) green Open Studios signs starting from Hwy 1 continuing along Porter St, Old San Jose Rd --and so on, to my studio. I am located about a mile North of Soquel, off of Old San Jose Rd.
I am also mailing postcards with email,website, address, dates--etc. If you would like a postcard
"invitation", email me with your name and address at: [email protected] . I am hoping to have a few paintings from a recent trip to Hat Creek--near Lassen National Park, in Northern California.
